Moved around the corner from Gary's and tried it out. Haircut was ok but the atmosphere was kinda blah. He laid in his barber chair the whole time while the girl cut my hair both times I went. First time the conversation was ok and the second time I went in they hardly said a word and had no clue I had ever been there. Cost was 14.95 plus tip which seemed about the regular cost as most places.
I'm glad I found Gary's shop. Everyone does a great job and the conversation is great too.
One of The Last Real Baarber Shops Gary's is what a barber shop should be!! Skilled craftsmen, friendly atmosphere and a peek into a more simple and better time.
Great cut from a "barber" who knows how to cut hair. Beauticians are beauticians and will cut your hair, but If you want a great cut from a "barber" who knows how to cut hair...go see Gary!!!
