BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE This Gary is a big jerk. I have never dealt with anyone in the customer service world who is more condisending. It happens every time I talk to him. He makes you feel like you are stupid. He talks over your sentences. He never listens long enough to really let you ask a question because he is all knowing....what a loser. His garage may be able to fix VW's, but it isn't worth dealing with him....knowledge isn't everything and I just can't stomache this jeck.
Best VW/Audi shop around Gary and his crew are simply the best. I've been taking my Jetta's there for 15+ years. Their depth of knowledge, honesty and level of service simply cannot be beat. My next car is going to be a VW or Audi just so I can keep taking my cars there.
Best in town Gary is the best VW mechanic in town. I would not take my Volkswagen to anyone else. Gary's Automotive gave me a free estimate, quality work and honest service.
Very fast We didnt know who to take our VW Beetle to until someone recommended Gary!! I think he did a wonderful job and was really fast about getting our car back to us! He was very honest and a lot CHEAPER than taking to a dealership!
The best VW Mechanic in town! Gary is the best!!! I took my first VW (bought from a dealer) to 3 different dealerships and they gave me the run around. I took it to Gary and he immediately knew what was wrong. I drive from GR to Holland for his service and even purchased my current VW from him. Gary's Automotive is very reliable, friendly and affordable!
Should be five stars... or six.. or eight My husband and I read the one bad review with our jaws hanging open. How can this reviewer be talking about the same Gary who has kept our VWs on the road for decades at a fraction of the cost of dealer service? Compassionate, sweet, soft-spoken Gary? This is some crazy sort of interpersonal snafu. Gary is hard of hearing. Maybe that's the problem, this guy hasn't clued in on that yet. Awesome Mechanic!! Gary is THE BEST mechanic for VW repairs in West Michigan. I am a mechanic, too, and I take my cars to him if I can't do it myself. He always does a great job, he and his staff are very nice, and they know what they are doing!
