Worst doctor I have ever experienced! No compassion, no kindness, non listener! Does not explain anything to you and would rather you sit with your mouth shut then have to answer a question.I can’t believe this man is a doctor! I have never felt like I was such an In conscience in my life! I’d rather be seen by my pets vet! I’m Doing everything I can to find another doctor who actually became a doctor because they care!
As someone with chronic pain which creates other health issues, I felt blamed for my pain, the accompanying weight issues & depression by Dr Young. In one visit I felt ridiculed when I should have felt heard… I should have felt safe and I should have had an experienced person help me deal with the physical and emotional trauma I was experiencing. I saw Dr. Young in late September 2021 as a referral patient for upper torso/chest pain and cold/flu/Covid symptoms that had been ongoing for over 8 weeks. I was disappointed by Dr. Young's seemingly disinterest to look into my history of my illness and beyond what had been done so far for me, and in his lack of concern for my elevated values of temperature, blood pressure, and pulse simply because they fell within the medical establishments "normal" values - they were not "normal" for me. Dr. Young is the kindest and most intelligent family doctor you will find in all of Placerville. He took excellent care of both my kids until adulthood and always seemed to be knowledgeable about the latest treatments and medications. He is a great listener and has wonderful bedside manner. You won't be sorry if you sign up as his patient.
I think Dr. Young is an excellent Doctor. He is compassionate, a great communicator, and, listener. I have left the area and so regret that I have to find a new physician. I was under his care for almost 4 years and feel so fortunate to have chosen him when I first arrived in Placerville.
