I saw Dr. Smith once in late 2022 to establish care in NM for cardiac issues (we divide time between MT and NM). Though he understood them, he felt he did not have the infrastructure in Deming to manage them and referred me to an Albuquerque cardiologist and the Mayo Clinic. That lattter ultimately picked up my care and resolved, to the extent possible, my issues. Dr. Smith was incredibly perceptive, decisive, clear about how to proceed and instrumental in my getting as healthy as I now am. I am indebted to him.
He told me that POTS disorder was an “internet disease”!!
Alauna Dr. Smith’s nurse is friendly and attentive, and Dr. Smith, cardiology, is exemplary and thorough. I feel confident in their medical care. Julie the receptionist/intake dept. should be mentioned as well, hard worker and efficient.
