Gary's goal when he opened the business back in 1979 was to offer friendly, honest, quality auto repair and maintenance. Over the past 40+ years we have seen the growing technology in cars create new challenges and we have spent a great deal of time learning about the systems and which tools and what information is required to repair these systems. While technology makes leaps and bounds forward we still perform many inspections and routine factory scheduled maintenance items on a daily basis.

We have been using Schmidt's Garage for many decades. There has never been a problem with their work. They do the job at reasonable rates. Shawn, the person who mans the desk and phone is the right person for the job. He is personable and knowledgeable. He has given good advice, that has saved us money over the years. It is important to me, as a female, to be able to trust a garage not to take advantage of your lack of knowledge.
They are honest, suggesting only services I need. When they perform a service, they do outstanding work. They are also very nice and easy to work with.
Gary Schmidt’s Garage was first recommended to me by a trusted friend back in 2004. They have always been very flexible, and spent time discussing what work really needs to be done. I have never felt pressure to do “extra” work. They have always been efficient, and the work is done usually within a day. They call and discuss options, if there are any “surprises”. Sean and John are always very courteous and helpful. Quality and timeliness of work is alwzys 5 star.
Don’t expect them to do what they say here. Was told to drop my car off on Thursday and they would keep it inside until they could work on it. This is important since the issue is that the windows are stuck in the down position. Called again Thursday morning to verify that it was okay to bring it in and that they could keep it inside or would it be better to bring it when they planned to work on it.
