He doesn't care about his patients
Dr. Rombaugh performed rotator cuff surgery on me, including labrum debridement, bicept tendinosis and subacromial smoothing. Throughout the process he was knowledgeable and professional. We started with PT, then MRI, then surgery. He never pushed me to go further, but instead gave me honest advice and expectations. It's only been 2 months, but I feel good about getting the surgery and I'm mostly recovered already. Dr. Rombough convinced my husband that he needs an immediate surgery and my husband has to stay at the hospital overnight. The hospital submitted the $27,000 claim, in addition to $3,100 claim submitted by the doctor. The insurance company denied the hospital's authorization because "there was no medical necessity." The insurance company asked me to convey to the doctor that it is he who has to prove that there was the medical necessity (after all, he was THE admitting physician), and he is not
