My daughter had been seeing Dr. Starr for a few years before it was time to do the braces. We met to plan a course of treatment and he said he wanted us to consider jaw surgery. Orthodontic treatment would vary depending if our daughter had the surgery or not. In the following months we consulted an oral surgeon and also discussed treatment options with a cousin who is an orthodontist in San Diego. Two of my daughters that needed orthodontics used Dr. Starr's services. The office was run super efficiently; never waited for the seat to get warm before my daughters were called into the dental chair! All staff were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Dr. Starr is so outgoing and you can tell that he really loves what he does; so welcoming, down to earth and positive. Both daughters never ever minded coming and enjoyed the self-sufficiency of 'doing their own thing' at the office; taking responsibility for check in, etc.... read more
