Dr. Bertman is the most thoughtful and professional AME I have dealt with in my 40 year aviation career. As an aviator himself, he has unique perspective into the specialized world of aviation medicine, the challenges pilots face, and the concerns they have. Five stars, highly recommended.

Doctor Gary Bertman is a true gentleman. My current AME wasn’t much help with questions regarding a limitation on my medical. Where do I even begin?! This is my 2nd time doing a Flight Medical with Dr. Bertman. All I can truly say is; there is a reason I came back, and he will continue to be my AME for a very long time. He is the absolute BEST! He is very professional and polite; very clear with what he is going to do, and ensures that your experience is worth your time there.
