I have had the privilege of being a patient of Dr Steven Lasin for over 27 years. He is exceptional- very thorough, very collegial to his staff, takes time to listen carefully, goes over all tests with explanation, always calls back to answer any questions. For the several times all these years that I have been in hospital, Dr Lasin has always come, every day I was there, coordinating with the other physicians. Dr. Steven Lasin, saved a life this past weekend. He didn't do it with any bravado. Following the ancient tradition of ALL exceptional healers, Dr. Lasin simply "listened to his new patient (and the patient's family), took the time to fo over an see the patient, who'd just been admitted to the emergency department at NMLFH, assess the patient's imaging and tests, made a few simple changes, and a man, a husband, beloved father and grandfather was literally saved from imminent death.
