Ellen and Gary handled my brother’s funeral with so much professionalism! My brother was cremated in Florida, and Deiters handled everything for us. (We would never have known where to start.) His cremains were mailed to East Peoria recently. The weather was awful, so Gary Deiters personally delivered the cremains to my father’s residence. I would recommend Gary Deiters Funeral Home to anyone! Thank you!!

These people are so compassionate and amazing. My son passed at 15 weeks gestation and I called Gary about getting Gracen cremated. He told me not to worry and he'd take care of the fine print himself. Him and Ellen made it as smooth of a process as possible. They handled everything with such care it was comforting. I can't thank them enough for helping us and for taking care of Gracen.

Gary is so creative and excited to create unique events which truly reflect the vibrant life your loved one lived. My Dad passed in December 2018 and we were able to arrange a send-off for him he would have been genuinely proud of. I cannot express how comforting it is to know that my Dad's visitation and funeral truly reflected who he was and I am so glad we could give his other family and friends one last beautiful thing to remember him by.
Gary Deiter doesn’t only provide a service, he provides a support during a devastating time. From the moment we first met to plan my mother’s services, he and Madison extended genuine care and compassion that was truly unexpected. They went far above and well beyond customer service.
