Gary is an utmost perfectionist, and will adhere to the local laws and only work with supplies he can personally vouch for and trusts. Like the other reviewer commented, if you wanna go out and get ahold of your own equipment or not bring everything up to current code, Gary might not be for you since he cannot guarantee the quality of those items are up to his standards, and wont put his name on something he can't stand behind. Beware of this guy. Came to my house to price a simple job and tried to up-sell me on a complete replacement of my main panel. 3 other licensed electricians who would be pulling permits for the work said no way was that necessary. Then he started telling me how certain materials were in short supply due to Covid. When I suggested I could get those things for him, he said he could not work with any materials he did not buy himself because then he couldn't guarantee the work.
