St Luke’s failed to diagnose my autoimmune disease for almost 3 years. Took the University of Missouri less than 2 months. Dr Martin mismanaged by case and damaged my median. Instead of following up and correcting the issue I was fired as a patient. He showed me no concern and surgery was the worst treatment he could have provided
Arrogant, no concern for patients. Questionable skills. No communication
Business response:
We take these concerns very seriously. We’d like to connect you with a patient advocate so we can learn more about your experience and discuss these matters further. You can find their information here, www.saintlukeskc.org/patientadvocates
Dr Martin, while operating in cooperation with orthopedic surgeon, Dr John Krumme, performed a complicated reconstructive muscle and skin graft procedure on my left leg during a total knee revision necessitated by a serious infection. I am convinced Drs Martin and Krumme probably saved my leg. I can't begin to describe how grateful I am, not only for both surgeons, but in particular for Dr Martin's timely surgery followed by two weeks of personal attention, directing the recovery procedures and direct supervision of the proc... read more

He was very kind and patient with me after my second breast cancer surgery. My scars and extra tissue looked terrible so I was supposed to go back to get a second surgery so he could fix what the first surgeon had done. I am also going to see if he can fix another problem that I am wanting fixed. He’s a Dr. that I feel like I can trust.
Business response:
Hi Sherry. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience. We appreciate your kind words and will share them with Dr. Martin.
Dr. Martin and his PA, Abby are both amazing. Dr. Martin explained my hand injuries and need for surgery so well and after my procedure, his PA responded to each message I sent promptly. When I needed to be seen in between appointments, they worked me in. I can not say enough good things about them! Highly recommended!!!!
Dr. Martin Performed hand surgery on my teenage son Gavin on 4/21/20. He was absolutely amazing! He explained everything thoroughly and was very attentive and caring ( w/patient & parent). The work looks amazing and my son is recovering nicely! So thankful that we were referred to him!!!!
Dr. Martin was fantastic! He really cared about me and my results. Best surgeon I’ve ever met!
Dr. Martin is very patient and explains everything thoroughly with you. He is highly skilled and meticulous, taking extra time in surgery to make sure it is done right! Very happy to have used him for my surgery.
