Love Dr. Garrison. I’ve been seeing her for years. She sees my daughter as well. Bad reviews are completely inaccurate and obviously written by the same Internet troll on multiple sites (you can tell by the dates). Makes me angry to see someone badmouth my doctor. I feel like she’s family, I’ve been in the office so many times due to my health issues. She has even contacted me over the weekend with results of my testing when she knew I was nervous. I wouldn’t see anyone else, and neither would most of my friends.
My husband and I have seen Dr. Garrison for over 12 years. She is by far, the best doctor that we’ve ever had. She is actually the first female doctor my husband has ever used and he will not see anyone else now. She has always been empathetic, compassionate, and makes sure we understand everything that is discussed at our visits. She wouldn’t refill my Perscriptions and lied and said she gave me other referrals to do so. I asked for a Neuropsychologist due to a head injury and she said Mayo didn’t have any. Referred me outside of Mayo to a Neurologist and a Psychologist. She told me all Psychologist specialize in Head Injury. They don’t! FYI Mayo does have Neuropsychologists. Also Orlando has a TBI Unit.
Dr. Garrison is absolutely the worst medical doctor I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with. She is extremely arrogant, a very poor listener and routinely insists on unnecessary repeat visits for the sole purpose of padding Mayo Clinic’s pockets. Do yourself a favor and seek medical attention elsewhere.
Dr. Garrison is very uncompassionate. She wants you to go in for a ton of tests, but once you find out what's wrong, she had no compassion to actually help you. It's always, make another appointment and another. When trying to schedule an appointment, you sit on hold forever and can't get in when it's urgent. I won't be going back to her and I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
Dr Garrison is a very caring competent physician. She addresses all your concerns without rushing you through your appointment. If you have a problem she cannot treat she will get you an appointment with a specialist at Mayo. Highly reccomend her!
