As a aircraft mechanic myself, I am quite particular on who I let work on my vehicles. Garrin's earned my trust with there knowledge, professional work and fair price. They we exceptional in documenting the problems with my F150 and performing the work as agreed to. In a time that it's difficult to find a automotive shop you can trust, I highly recommend Garrin's Automotive.
Took my car on with a check engine light on. I pulled the code to see what it was about. When I got in to Garrin's, the mechanic found a different issue that fixed ALL the engine problems without extra unnecessary repairs being done. I appreciated their honesty! They could have chosen to fix other systems within the engine as the check engine light threw a code for those, and still told me to fix the issue the mechanic found. But they didn't, they truly just fixed what needed to be fixed.
We have been going to Garrins for six years. We recently had an appointment in the morning for a fuel injection service flush, also asked for an oil change, and also asked them to look into why the car maintenance light was on. We got the car back over 7 hours later. Not sure why it took so long. NOT GOOD! They did NOT communicate with me that to simply look at my vehicle and see what was wrong would cost me $173 diagnostic fee! Come to find out when we chose not to use them because the quote came back laughably high ($1,000+) they wouldn’t give me my keys till I paid! DO NOT TAKE YOU CAR HERE. And…. $1,000+ for a radiator cap, plastic overflow tank, and a temperature sensor!!! On a 1995 Toyota!!!! Please don’t make my same mistake! Parts alone will be far less than the $173.
