Two years ago, this mechanic replaced my air conditioner compressor and water pump and also replaced the crank shaft seal. Took my son’s car in to have the brakes checked as they were soft and spongy. They plugged the car into their machine and said there were some ABS issues but in order to find out exactly what was wrong it would cost him $190. We asked them to do a brake flush and they charged us $190 including labor! There is minimal labor in a brake flush but whatever. Zero stars if I could. Garin’s Automotive is wildly overpriced and dishonest in their communication. They quoted me over $1,060 for a basic crankshaft sensor replacement. The certified Honda dealer down the road quoted $396 for the same repair. When I questioned the price, they claimed they had emailed me the breakdown, which was a flat-out lie since they never even collected my email address. They are completely inflexible and refused to work with me or adjust their $173 diagnostic fee despite being caught in a lie. They ar... read more
Don’t go waste your hard earned money here. Took my ac for recharge paid $630 and the ac still doesn’t blow cold. They are saying my stereo is the issue why my ac is not working. They did not provide any test results or how they came to that conclusion. They said it would cost $200 an hour to troubleshoot after they took my money. Has 2 year warranty which is worthless if they can’t fix the original problem.
