I called Garrin's to get an estimate on a car battery replacement, was told about $200.00 possibly a little more depending on the battery. The price is around what other shops stated they charged. I asked what brand of battery they used , he said Deka. I like Deka brand , so I went with this shop. Brought the car in ( car is gasoline powered), battery is changed, they call me up to the desk to pay and he asks me , it doesn't have a start/stop does it? I said it did. Our car was having issues with stuttering, particularly when accelerating. Another shop diagnosed it as a bad ignition coil and bad spark plugs and subsequently replaced them. That didn’t fix the issue, so we took the car to Garrin’s Automotive. They came back with the same diagnosis. They said the brand new coil was bad and spark plugs needed to be replaced.
