Dr. Zella has been my son's pediatric gastroenterologist for years. He has provided our family with such exceptional care that when he left Tufts for UMass, we followed him without hesitation. Dr. Zella is an incredibly skilled clinician and a warm and empathetic human -- a rare combination. When we meet with him, he always gives us his undivided attention and makes us feel heard. We have recommended Dr. Zella to many other families, and everyone has the same reaction -- he is amazing.
Dr. Zella is amazing! I had heard so many great things from other mothers (he is recommended on a ton of mother blogs) and he came through in every way. He has helped to care for two of my children now for years and he is the warmest and most caring doctor and with a great sense of humor! My kids love him and we owe their GI health to Dr. Zella!
I wish I could give him zero stars. He is the most arrogant person I've ever met. He is rude and two-faced. He at first acts like he cares, and will then try in any way possible to get rid of you. At the end of the day, he gives you a diagnosis and stops caring after that. He is a liar. He will say something, and when you reference it later on, he acts like you are making it up. Dr. Zella treated my brother as a teen, and subsequently both of my young daughters. He is so kind, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients, tall or small.
Amazing doctor! So kind and caring with my son. Never felt rushed, explained everything and answered all questions. Put both my son and myself at ease. Talked directly to my son and not just about him to me, which I really liked. I trust him completely with my son’s health.
I love him! He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He listens to all of you problem and tries to find a solution for your problems. He explains everything great and makes sure you are comfortable with his treatment plan. 100% recommend!
I never had to call Dr. Zella after my son received emergency treatment for crowns disease, but he has relapsed, not being able to eat cause of nausea and Dr. Zella relayed to me by staff nurse that he thinks its a despression problem or virus. I live with my son, he is not depressed or has a virus, he has a flare up and glass problem, DR ZELLA told us to see our pediatrician , thats a lot DR ZELLA, do you care about your patients or are you just making money$$
We've met Dr. Zella for the first time today. He's excellent... very professional, courteous and caring. I've seen many doctors in my life, but only a few seem to be so knowledgeable and helpful as Dr. Zella. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatric GI doctor for their children. Dr Zella is wonderful! He put my son at ease when he was scared and he took time to really listen and respond to our concerns. He's such an excellent doctor, I wish they could all be like him!
