My daughter has braces and on a Friday one of bands came off (no big deal) but an inch long of her wire was out and jammed into her gums. I was able to pry it out of her gum but it was poking out and jabbing into her cheek. I called the emergency number (and texted over pictures) and was told that Dr Garrett said that she could wait until Monday and to chew on the other side 😂 it wouldn’t matter what side she chewed on because every time she would bite down it jabbed her in the cheek.
