This was the longest urgent care experience I've ever had. I stopped by for a routine problem, expecting to be in and out in about 20 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes to be seen, I was given an unnecessary test (that was supposed to take only 15 minutes for results) and forced to wait another 30 minutes. When I was seen, there was barely any assessment, since my problem was routine and obvious. Extremely poor service!! I called for appointment to get foreign object removed fron foot.i was told they could not see me for 4 days. Urgent care in Oakland MD. What part of URGENT don't they understand?!!
Family member was to have cancer surgery. However the hospital could not tell patient of her surgery time until the night prior to the surgery after 4pm. Very poor customer service. What about out of town family members who are coming to support the family? Most cancer centers are very supportive and want to make sure family members are able to support patient.
