My husband called the dental care center a month ago and he asked if they were accepting new patients and the receptionist told him that they were and he scheduled an appointment for our two daughters. Today was our daughters' dentist appointment and I'm very disappointed and upset. I took them to their appointment and they didn't get their teeth cleaned and I was told that they weren't accepting new patients. This dental office is the only place that accepts our insurance. While I can’t attest for every office located within the Health Department, I’ve utilized Healthy Families/Early Care Programs, WIC, the dental clinic, and population health and outreach and all of the staff have been wonderful with us. A special shoutout to Healthy Families who have always gone above and beyond to support me and my daughter through everything. Their support and compassion truly made (and still makes!) such a difference, especially at a time when we needed it the most. Cannot recommend them enough!
