Jim did a great job installing our water softener. Good quality work, good communication and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend them.
I hired Garrelts to install a reverse osmosis system. There was a defect in the plastic tubing that caused water damage to my wall. I contacted Jim and provided him with photos. Jim responded back right away and said he would take care of it. Check arrived within a few days that covered all of the repairs to my wall. I wish there were more companies out there that stood behind their work. My reverse osmosis system is working great!
I contacted this company because one of my contractors had a good experience with them a few years back. I spoke with Jim on the phone to explain what I was looking for then sent over our water test results + photos of what we need replaced, and he said he would get back to us. He never sent us a quote or contacted us so we followed up a few days later, and he said he would get back to us again. It's been a couple of weeks now and he still hasn't bothered to contact us. Had a great experience with Jim. Texted him Friday evening, Saturday morning he sent a guy with a new water softener. Took an hour for the whole install for a very good price too! His guy was very nice and friendly, he explained everything about the new equipment and left everything nice and clean. Definitely A+ for Jim and his team.
This guy's customer service is horrible. I had a new unit installed by Jim. We were having well problems prior to he new softener. I quickly shut the unit down. We resolved the well problems and asked him to return to dial in the softener. Not only did I have to beg and plead for him to return. After he did, 2 months later, he even charged me for a service call. $150 for 5 minutes. To make matters worse, the unit still did not function properly.
