A reason to go off the beaten path The only reason to hit this section of town (just east of the River Market area, is to eat at Garozzos, and it's worth the drive. The ambiance hits you as soon as you hit the front door and see the candlelight and brick walls. A great date place. Try the Spedini Samantha.
The Itallian Stallion Garozzo's original site has the ambiance to go with the authentic. You must love garlic and their red sauce is bar none. Don't worry if you don't know what gnocchi is, just get it with three cheese and try their meatballs. Worth the drive!
GO! Part of the good news is that this restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, however, do make reseervations. Everything on the menu seems to be prepared with care and love so go with several people so you can each try many offerings. On the other hand, it is a kind of romantic place to go with a date, so you choose. It is a bit pricey but not really for all you get here.
Garozzo's Ristorante is family place the food here is prepared very good,and they give you great service as well.we go there as a family cause its that type of place to eat at.so get ready to have a good time...

We went on a Sunday. yp.com said they opened at 11 a.m., but they don't. They're open at 4 p.m.. We had to waste 2 hours just driving around waiting for dinner. Inconsiderate!
They had pretty good food, but you sure do pay for it. WAY too expensive! Service was great though
Not impressed – If you don't enjoy having your food microwaved don't go to Garozzo's.
Garozzo's Restaurant – OMG!!! I went here as a welcoming gift to this amazing city and this is just amazing!!! The customer service is excellent... I definitely give this restsurant 5 stars for everything including the food and the prices.
