I bought an anklet from this location that’s supposed to be 14 karat gold for just under $300 and it’s turning my ankle green. Curious how gold turns your skin green. When I went back, the gentleman told me I didn’t buy it from him and because I paid cash they never gave me a receipt. I bought a pair of earrings that they handmade on site and this anklet and then they tried to tell me I didn’t come from them definitely not impressed
The bald guy, not sure if it’s owner or what, I walked and seems like he don’t care. Stop drinking the coffee and work and at least be professional. Conversation haven’t even start and definitely not coming back. Rude.
I am initiating a lawsuit in small claims court. I had 3 rings that needed repair. 2 of the rings where the rings were repaired have turned black. The rings are 14k gold. There was no black in either ring when I took it in for repairs. I've been back there 5 times. Still the same issue over and over again. They indicate that's the way the gold is. I would not trust this place. Over $1,500 for repairs. I have asked for a refund. They have refused. See you in Court.
I seldom leave reviews but believe consumers need to be aware of Garo jewellers as they sell FAKE gold. My elderly mom went to Garos to buy a pair of gold earrings & was told it was a one of a kind pair from Italy to the tune of $800. Only after I saw them & noticed they are not stamped & when taken to another jewelry store was confirmed that it is indeed fake gold. I Was looking for somebody to repair four pieces of jewellery on site the same day. I called Garo and they said to bring it in and they could do it. I needed a medical bracelet done right away and Arthur, said he could do it in 10 minutes for me and have the rest done by the end of the day. I went back after half an hour and he had finished them all. . So grateful he got it all done. Save me another trip. Great to have a local Jeweller that can do repairs on site and not have to send jewelry out to someone else.
