I was told over the phone that my primary Dr would fill out paperwork for my daughter to request intermittent FMLA to assist me as needed for PT and pain management. Because Garnet Health does not have Drs for neck or back problems, I was referred out to 2 other facilities to see specialists. I am seeing a PA in Orthopedic at Garnet Health, as well. This is by far the worst hospital you can bring a family member to in the Hudson Valley region. Nurses are great, but cannot do their best work when Garnet polices clearly prioritize profit & protocol over patient care and comfortability. I will be transferring my mother to Westchester or Paramus asap over this graveyard of a greedy oligarchy of a hospital.

Dr Gerrard Augustine was the ER Dr. attending to my son. His report states that I, the mother was concerned of scalded skin syndrome. Patient presented with rash that progressed very quickly. I informed them my other child had Scalded skin syndrome 3 months ago and was hospitalized. He told me my son had scabies from our pets at home and that’s what caused the rash.
