I began seeing Dr. Garner as a young child from 1992-1993 when my biological parents first separated. During this time, both of my parents began involving themselves with other people and ignoring my emotional needs. Dr. Garner failed to recognize and point out this key component. Ironically, a therapist I worked with from 2018-2019 recognized this within 5-10 minutes of the first session.
