The Real Savokia W Horrible mortgage company!! How sad is it you have to write a review under another persons name!!? Quite pathetic!~ "We moved in 4 months and we could not be happier" We already were living there! And the Mary Ann mentioned didn't like how the business was ran!

Great example of preditory lending Buyer beware! These guys cold called me last summer promising to beat current market rates. They quoted me a locked 30 year rate at 4% no points. I submitted all the required paperwork and paid a $450 appraisal fee. Never heard from them for a month. When I called back they said the rate slipped away and the new rate is 4.50% (this was last October). I called the manager and complained about the representatives preditory practice. RUN FROM THEM! Don't use them to finance a toilet seat. They don't have any pull in the mortgage industry to secure you a loan, they will steal your appraisal money, refuse to give you a copy of your appraisal, they will NEVER return a phone call nor email, they will treat you like Gold until you actually give them money, then they will call your bank and demand Fed Ex / Expedited Service of documents (without your consent), rack up fees with your current mortgage holder, tell you you'll close in a week or two weeks and 90 d... read more

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They are unprofessional, and almost scary. They wanted 400$ for an apprasial, and 2300$ upfront to close. I politley told them no thanks. When my new broker tried to get them to transefer my FHA case file, a mysterious MaryAnn could never be reached. After numerous phone calls, and a letter from my laywer, they finally sent it. A great experience and good service Garfield Mortgage treated me fairly. The quoted me my interest rate and closing costs and they were very competitve. My appraisal came in lower than it did 3 years ago but as they told me that was to be expected. They are a good company and they helped me greatly.

Thanks for help with getting a mortgage We moved to Chicago and had to purchase a house. We found garfield mortgage thru a friend. Our Loan officer helped us understand the process in getting a mortgage and he explained clearly to us all the costs involved. Everytime we called, Mary Ann helped us get what we needed and who we needed to talk too. We moved in 4 months and we could not be happier. Our bank could not get us a mortgage after trying and we saved money over what they said they were going to charge us.

Professional and saved me money Garifeld Mortgage helped me get a mortage I could not get anywhere else. I visited them in there office and the people treated me very nice. The rate of 4.5% that I was quoted is what I got and their closing costs were competitive with other companies. I am very grateful that they helped me save hundreds of dollars in montly expenses.
