I had an infection that caused T3 to collapse and injure my spinal cord in Oct 25. I had sensation, but no movement at all. I just so happened to end up at St Luke's in Jan for pneumonia and Dr. Adams saw my info and offered to perform a fusion to correct the collapsed vertebrae. The visit went well and he explained everything I needed to know.
I met with Dr. Adams today. He spent a good amount of time patiently answering my questions on the Stenosis diagnosis I had been given by another surgeon. Dr. Adams reviewed my MRI and agreed with the Stenosis diagnosis however, he recommended a less invasive surgical option which also offered a quicker recovery. My surgery is scheduled in about two weeks. Fast forward and it has been about four weeks since my surgery. Pain in my legs is gone and recovery is progressing nicely. Very happy with the results.
