They like animals but they love money Nurses and techs are nice and vets are helpful but lil pricy place to bring a puppy. Needed to do fecal test almost every time I brought my kitty and expensive skin cream for the skin problem without finding a cause. Its just over care. A huge minus is that they don't approve my online order of heartworm drug "revolution" without giving any reason, clearly suggesting that they don't care my kitty but my money... How sad is that?
Excellent and thorough I have been bringing my 2 small dogs to Dr. Martin for several years-- by far he is the most knowledgeable and thorough vet that I have found. He gives excellent explanations and has given top-notch care to my dogs. Also, I brought my cat to Dr. Grubbs, and I was very impressed with the care he gave. He called to check in on my cat after the visit. They never did unncessary tests or procedures. The facility is very clean. I am a physician and I have the highest confidence in them.
Very Friendly Staff Dr.Martin is so friendly and always takes the time to explain everything that needs done for our dog, Hope. The rest of the staff is also very friendly.
Dr. Lloyd Fiedler is one of the best vets in Texas I have been told that by a veterinary surgeon who offered that comment totally unsolicited by me when he saw who had referred me. I'm also a huge fan of Dr. Robertson. The staff here is excellent - vets, techs and front desk. They cared for my beloved Maltese for the 11 years of his life. I especially respect them for referring me to a specialist when one of the dog's medical issues required special diagnostic equipment only available at a veterinary hospital. Wonderfully compassionate and responsive I am not sure what anyone on here is talking about. After reading these reviews I truly felt compelled to write my own. My dog was a patient of VCA for his long life of fifteen years. When he reached his senior citizen stage of life, they were always supportive and responsive. We were given much support and help in deciding how to handle his arthritis and cushings disease. The vet was fabulous and I believe my dog loved her as much as anyone. Truly World Class This vet is amazing. We took our 8 month old puppy after she had been throwing up and the doctor was excellent. She was extremely informative, gentle and treated our situation with the urgency we hope every vet would. I recommend this vet to anyone who loves their pet. This is a remarkable place. The price of the services may shock you. However, the vet is giving you what the "Best" treatment would be. There are always options that come at lower prices that they are willing to discuss with you, so just ask.... read more
newark vca They are a nice hospital but some vets are better than others. They told me my cat had cancer for a year until another vet said he didn't. They also charge a fortune but don't they all!! The place is big and alot of parking. It is often hard to get an appointment right away but they always have an expensive emergency visit available.
Only in an Emergency!!! The Newark VCA is overpriced and understaffed. On my second and last visit the Tech brought my kitten back in after a blood test and he was bleeding profusely. She wouldn't even clean him up until I demanded to see the vet. In addition, the vet promised to call me back with those blood test results the next day. I never heard back and had to badger the receptionist to get a call back. I called around to find another vet in the area taking new patients only to find no one available. Very Happy Here I have a cat that was a stray. He got very sick immediately with pancreatitis, which is fairly deadly to cats. He was deathly ill. Dr. Christa saved his life. She continued to check up on him long after he was healed. The other thing I like about this hospital is that they have state of the art diagnostic equipment. I now have a kitten I just adopted. My regular vet thinks he has stomatitis (very bad gingivitis and teeth). I want a second opinion on his condition, and I trust them to make the right decision. ... read more
