We put my father in Waterloo Garden place for several months. He was battling cancer and lived out his last days there. We got to make his living area very much like his own home by being able to bring in some of his own belongings. A few pieces of furniture and pictures made it feel like home. He loved the activities they had on a regular basis and especially when the ice cream truck came to visit. Other residents were very welcoming and engaging. My mom was hesitant tomove to Garden Place. She moved here from another assistant living to decrease her monthly expenses. She has been very, very happy with everything, all of the staff are very friendly and helpful with anything she needs. Her only complaint is that she gets too much food on her plate.

We are very pleased with the caring people, quality meals, and facilities at Garden Place Waterloo. The staff is very responsive and friendly, and takes the time to make sure my mother is content. The kitchen staff makes extra effort to ensure the residents receive their special meals as requested. And the management is receptive to all our questions.
