My mother was recent in post acute rehab at Garden Gate. All of the staff, from aides, to nursing to physical therapy, were so kind to her. They were all very responsive to her needs and made sure that she was comfortable during the time she spent there. These situations are never easy but my family’s experience at Garden Gate was truly a positive one!
One star for the night staff, one star for the PT staff. Daytime aides and nurses are rude residents, it's more of a nursing home than a rehab facility. However, the PT department gets high marks for its professionalism and compassionate Care. Food was absolutely horrible, always delivered late and cold. Rude, immature aides, however, some were delightful. Would not choose again.
Although response is slow when responding to lights. The care is very good and friendly. Rooms are kept clean.
Garden Gate has very professional and knowable staff. They took great care of many of my family members over the years. I would highly recommend this facility.
