What a nightmare! Super expensive and then the players have to wait for tournament locations until 2 days before game day. Extremely stressful for traveling families to finding lodging at the last minute. There's no communication to the parents either. Do not waste your money.
This organization is an absolute nightmare. My son received an acceptance to go to Iowa July 2024. We bought our flights and booked our hotel and today we received notification my son did not make the team. How do they do that to a child???? STAY AWAY!!!
Terrible Association. The locations that are being used by GEVA are below health and safety standards. It is unacceptable and when you call the number there is no response. No HEAT or working bathrooms at tournament sites. Lets close them down and report them to the authorities, including local, state and Federal. A FIRE HAZARD WITH PEOPLE BLOCKING DOORS!
Was very disappointed when our won gold two years in a row at this tournament and they are so cheap they don’t hand out gold medals. Whoever heard of volleyball tournament without medals. Do better!
What a joke this "organization" is. Everything is a #2 show with them. They Schedule tournaments and don't even have a place to play them. Everyone has to deal with their poor planning. A chicken on a twister board would be better at organizing tournaments. Tired of people saying it's been like this for years... Shame on everyone for letting that just be "ok". Get your act together and do better GEVA!
