I asked about a higher medication dosage and was told they “won’t go over guidelines,” When I tried to understand how it would be going over guidelines if I had previously been on a higher dose, the response became dismissive instead of informative. As a patient, I am not a medical professional I rely on my doctor to explain the reasoning behind my treatment, not shut down questions. Dr. Shah is exceptional. He takes his time to listen to my concerns and I never feel rushed. He’s always knowledgeable about whatever I’m dealing with and is able to explain it in a way I can totally understand. I always leave his clinic feeling truly cared about as a patient. My family and I always choose Garden City Urgent Care because of the superior care received there.
Will never go back. Came in for my foot. Needed a doctors note. Called in and asked for it was told it would be emailed. Gave them a few days called again once again told same thing. Gave them a whole nother week and called in again today and they told me they won't be held hostage over a note and be asked on such last notice in their busy office. Work thinks I'm lying and is firing me.
