Heritage Woods of South Elgin has been a God-sent to my mom and her family. When faced with the challenge of moving her out of her apartment out of state and into Assisted Living I feared the daunting task. My husband and I had a tour of Heritage Woods with Melissa Balleto. I moved mom in during the pandemic 9/20. The staff was helpful and informative. My concern is that mom needed to be in assisted living for a reason. Her mental capacity and attitude was not all there, and I guess that's why I'm still getting bills for therapy from 12/20 in 10/21. I provided copies of medical insurance to the nurse, yet the therapy people have been billing the wrong insurance or her room number wasn't provided etc. My suggestion would be to keep informed on what they are prescribing to determine if it's act... read more
