Dr Garcia has been treating me since 1998, he's very detailed. Listens.has great beside manners and takes his time. He doesn't rush you in and out.

i took my husband in for what was suspected parkinsons. He did run test mri and eeg then when we went back for results he just seemed to concur with our thoughts. Fast forward 3 months later, I had an opportunity to take my husband to another more modern neurologist. Dr.Garcia misdiagnosed my husband. He didn't have parkinsons he has a terminal illness that was very clearly seen in the MRI. We are very upset eventhough knowing now and then would have never made a difference

I've been seeing Dr. Garcia for most of my adult life (I'm 34). I drive from Louisville to see him everytime. He takes his time with me, talks to me about any questions or concerns I have, he's even called me personally on my phone HIMSELF to speak to me. How many doctors can you say do any of those things let alone all of them? Sure there are are a plethora of neurologists in Louisville that I could see instead of making the drive to Etown, but I personally like Dr. Garcia. Dr. Garcia has been treating my adult son for over 21 years. he gets him the tests he needs to keep his health issue under control, his office has "fought" with insurance company to get tests he needs, he explains everything so that we understand the conditions and treatments. we have waited a few times for a bit, but it is so he can spend the time he needs with each patient.

Waited over an hour to receive the results of my wife’s bloodwork and EEG. I had to remind him that she had an MRI after the first visit. He wanted to know where it was? Told him he reviewed last time we were there. Then he found it in the file. He tries to be funny but that is most inappropriate when talking about somebody’s health. Mumbles and doesn’t listen to his patients. We weren’t in the exam room three minutes. Seems a bit absent minded. Maybe time for him to retire. We will never go back. I didn't visit. He read my EEG. He got the history completely wrong. What a shame that an neuro-specialist would make such mistakes. I will NOT ever go see him.

I saw this doctor for many years and I should have gotten another doctor long ago. He kept me on overpowering meds to where I couldn’t function. He wouldn’t put me on newer drugs or suggest other treatments. He led me to believe that there wS no hope for me. The wait in his waiting room was always 2-6 hours. I am now seeing a much better doctor.

He was friendly but not very helpful didn't let me finish answering questions before interrupting and didn't offer any treatment options. I waited 1hour 45 minutes in the waiting room before being called back then another 15-20 in the exam room before seeing the provider. The walls are thin and you can hear the other patients interactions with the provider.

The only reason for the long wait time here is that Dr Garcia spends time with his patients, listening to the patient and thoroughly explaining the issues that you may find yourself facing. I respect that. I challenge you to find that elsewhere. Recommend him to family and friends.
