The live demonstration was very interesting, informational, and mostly amazing! The visit to Garcia Art Glass was the highlight of our weekend trip to San Antonio. Was amazing to see the craftsmen and women going through the overall process from start to finish to make an art piece. I already owned several glass candleholders from their web site and purchased a beautiful vase on this trip. This was incredibly interesting and the staff was knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge. We had a great time!
My husband and I visited yesterday for the live demo. The team was happy to welcome us into their space to watch them as they worked on two pieces. It was amazing to watch them all work in sync with each other. My love and interest in glass blowing started by watching a very old VHS tape about Dale Chihuly during an art history class in college... Amazing demonstration! Went with my husband and 8 year old grandson, both walked away with a new appreciation for Art glass. It was so informative and enjoyable. To anyone contemplating this experience, I say it is absolutely wonderful! My grandson said that he wants to learn to do this when he gets older and my husband couldn't believe the amount of expertise and work that goes into a piece. Broadened horizons today!! And I couldn't leave without making a purchase of a beautiful vase!

My friend and I had made reservations for a Sat am demonstration. They spent at least an hour explaining the process as we watched them make a large vase from start to finish. Loved the family history and learning about the relationship between the beyond talented artist and the apprentices. We had lots of questions which they enthusiastically answered. Never felt rushed- they truly love what they do
