I brought 4 pieces of jewelry here for very minor (ie watch batteries, hinge problems, etc), basic repairs and was made to feel like I was asking for some massive repair work. The 2 salespeople could not possibly have been more rude, curt, and overall dismissive. Don’t bother wasting your time here, do yourself a favor and take your items to Hamilton. It might be pricier but they’re at least competent and don’t treat you like you’re doing them some massive disservice by asking for help.

Wonderful people and an excellent jewelry store. In addition to having beautiful jewelry, Gary, the owner took a lot of time and pride in fixing my watch which was a tough challenge. He did a fabulous job and it was much appreciated as it was not an easy task. I recommend this store and their services are wonderful!

Sadly I had a terrible experience with Garbo jewelers and they lost a customer. I brought in several rings to get sized and have one diamond replaced in a ring. The notes the jeweler wrote for the work that needs to be done were impossible to read and when I picked up my jewelry they even said they could not read his writing. They made one of my rings bright silver when I told them not to. A few days after I got my jewelry back a diamond fell out of one that never lost a stone. Definitely come here if you're into heaps of misogynist micro aggressions. Otherwise, avoid it like the plague. Watch service at Hamilton is far more thorough and $20 more. With it, they will disassemble your watch, clean it, inspect it, and reassemble it along with the battery change in pressure test. In addition, they respectfully listen to you, do not grab things out of your hands, allow you to finish your sentences, and don't mock you as you leave.
