After meeting with several builders I decided to hire Garber Construction in Hinsdale for our multi million dollar custom build out. It was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I wish I had chosen ANY other builder. I do not recommend them.
We were happy to recently work with Garber Construction to supply Marvin Signature windows for a custom home build Jim Grabor was building for his client in Addison, IL. The window details were very technical due to a lot of arched and oversized windows. Jim and his team are great to work with and do some amazing custom work. Highly recommend. The Garber’s and their crews did a great job on my repairs. They were very polite, knowledgeable, and clean. The price was fair and the quality of work was superior. I'd hire Garber Construction again and will recommend the company to my friends and relatives.
Used them for a job in Lincoln Park, they finished late and over budget. Once they got the job it flet like Russia. No one would answer the phone when their was a problem. Also, they started work early, pissing off the whole neighborhood and finished early upsetting your truly. Try someone else.

Shapman, I'm sorry you are having a problem, but Garber Construction is not and has not done any work in Lincoln Park or the city of Chicago for that matter. You must be dealing with a separate entity. This Garber Construction is based and does work only in the western suburbs. Please remove your post as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
