Dr. Garant seems great, my daughter and I were very happy with her. She seemed knowledgeable and caring. My problem is with her staff, many of them are inefficient and rude. They seem very unhappy, and do not want to do their job. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but something needs to be done.
Love love Dr.Garant. The only thing I dislike is the office staff. They are the rudest ladies I have ever met. Ask Sarah a question about my bill and she was rude answering the question for me. God doesn’t like ugly .. If you don’t like your job then LEAVE!!
Back in 2007 I was pregnant with my first daughter. I had a 2 year old son. In 5 months she only did one ultrasound and checked the heartbeat twice although she knew I was a highrisk patient. I foumd out through other issues that my baby had so many issues she likely would not make it. When brought to her attention she said well really your only choice is abortion.. Guessing that she became better over the years... She was horrible back in 2007. I was referred to Planned Parenthood as a high risk patient. I then had to go to another area where I almost died before making it back home. Just to be told later that she didn't perform my procedure due to the "controversy" even though she was the one who informed me that it was "my only choice.." My life has never been the same. Dr Garant is one of the best Doctors I have ever used, my daughter and I have both used her for years. She is kind, helpful and concerned. Sadly her office staff is the rudest, most unfriendly and unhelpful staff I have ever dealt with at any medical office. This was not just one bad experience or one particular person, for some reason the ENTIRE staff is rude and unhelpful no matter how pleasant you are to them. I ADORE Dr. Garant. She's such an amazing person and Doctor. So easy to talk to and she offers wonderful advice to anything! I just don't like her new nurse. She's very hard to talk to and has no sense of compassion, which I think is key to have if you're a nurse.
Best ob hands down! – After I found out I was expecting, I had a couple of Co-workers who insisted I use Dr. Garant. Boy am I glad they did!! After meeting her for the very first time I knew that I was in great hands! She's fun, easy going, caring and she always puts her patients first! Dr. Michele Garant WILL – In late 2005 my daughter became pregnant at a very early age. I checked with my insurance and Dr. Garant came up. I called Affiliates for Women's Health and told them the situation. They got us in that first day. Dr. Garant was wonderful!!! She talked to my daughter about her own life and where she had come from. She told my daughter that all of her dreams were possible no matter what was going on then. Dr. Michele Garant won't – My wife went to Anderson for 10+ years until she moved away. Then when she came back she wanted to go to a woman so she went to Dr. Garant ONE time. Then she went to someone who she believed had more experience in a particular field after learning that she has conceiving issues. She tried to come back to Garant for a second opinion on her test results and Garant said she could not come back to the practice or see other doctors in that practice.
