The first company responded very quickly and sent technician to fix our garage door. Excellent service. Thanks again for your assistance. 5 star!!! BUT..... After few days headache started.The guy back to me and said you need to change motor, it's too weak for this new spring. 1K-price. I had an excellent experience with this garage repair company! The staff was polite, efficient, and professional, and the place was clean after the service. Their prices are very reasonable, and I highly recommend them. However, I'm puzzled by why other repair companies charge a call-out fee of $280+ when I provided detailed specifications and photos of the door. The job involved basic springs and cables replacement, so they should be able to quote instantly.
We - 16 residents of 79 Ann Street - are very grateful for your company management for responding to our enquiry in a speedy way. Garage door open/close system is working now. Unfortunately I was unwell (and I am elderly) when a pivot bolt snapped and left our garge door in a precarious position. Despite there being a simple solution - which was ignored - the "experts" who arrived were insistent that the entire lever-arm mechanism needed replacement. Then it was declared that the motor needed replacement. This seemed to be due to inadequate installation as the existing motor was only a few years old.
