Really impressed with Garage Door Doctors Cleveland. The whole process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. They were responsive, explained everything clearly, and made sure the garage door was working properly before wrapping up. I also appreciated how friendly and respectful they were throughout the service. Definitely a company I’d feel comfortable calling again for any garage door repairs or maintenance.
This place is a bit suspect. Seems like a lead farming operation and I would only use with caution. Had them scheduled to come out to a rental property between 9 and 11. Didn’t show until 12:15. Throughout the whole process I called the office 3 times to get an update on ETA. All 3 times they said they would have the tech call me with an ETA but they never called. This company is a scam. Liam came to re-spool the garage cable. When he respooled it, the opener stopped working. He would not work on the opener because it was a Genie brand and he doesn't work on Genie brand openers. He still charged me $1500. It unspooled the next day because he didn't set an upper limit on the door. He came back and respooled it but still wouldn't touch the opener. I ended up fixing the opener myself. I was charged $1500 for the technician to re-spool a cable around the garage door drum. After he was done, the garage door opener failed to work. He also never set the upper limit, so the cable immediately became unspooled again. He came back and re-spooled it and still refused to set the upper/lower limits or touch the garage door opener at all, stating that he won't work on Genie Garage Door openers because they're "cheap" and he's afraid of breaking something.
