It was nice. Could use some maintenance on the boardwalk.

A generally flowing eleven mile trail. It starts with the Ponds section, passing Horse, Gar and Pit Ponds. Then it's on to the Back Achers, and finishing up with the River section along the Suwannee and through Cypress knees and sinkholes. Not terribly difficult, but a good workout nonetheless.

The total trail is 11 miles, but it's broken into 3 sections. The Ponds section goes by Horse Pond and Gar Pond and Pit Pond, and some sinkholes. The River section is along the Suwannee, and more sinkholes and ravines. Back Achers is the middle section that meanders through wooded areas. It's all Suwannee River Water Management District land, so when the river is high, you may need a kayak to navigate the trail!
