Love it at this dental office. The staff is friendly and they explain everything thoroughly. Clean environment and Dr. James makes you feel comfortable and welcome. Shout out to Dr. James' dental assistant Rena. She is knowledgeable, kind & always greets me with a smile. I always feel at ease with her.
My wife has a tooth sensitive to cold. Dr. Jason Gao put a crown to it yet failed to solve the problem. Gao insisted it takes up to 3 weeks but it was getting worse after a month. My wife went to a different dentist to find out the crown completely missed the sensitive spot! It has to be redone. My wife wasted $1200 and suffered unnecessarily for weeks.
Loyalty only goes one way here. After 14 years of trust, we’re deeply disappointed. My family member had a root canal and crown on tooth #12, quoted at around $800. A week later, pain persisted—turns out the next tooth (#13) was cracked. The office then quoted another $1,180 and claimed it was our responsibility to know about it, even though they never mentioned it in recent visits. They took no accountability and simply washed their hands of it. Why see them if they can’t identify or stand by their own treatment advice?
