When I contacted the office, I spoke with Dinika. I was extremely emotional and in tremendous amounts of pain. She walked me through step-by-step and calmed me down. Right from the front door this office is amazing. Dr. Shankar operated on me and I went from a wheelchair to walking. Everyone that I saw from this office was exceptional. Dr. Shankar listened to my concerns and suggested a sensible path forward. His ability to assess physical presentation while comparing with imaging was reassuring. He is also a cool guy. Shoutout to his assistant Danika who is a scheduling wonder. Thank you both!
Never got to see him. Staff puts phone off the hook. Called several times. Then I decided to give the answering company a message, they answered and sent me to another answering company. Here I could only could leave a message. Which I left two one in morning and one in the afternoon. Just to wait for his staff to call me back at their convenience. Dr Shankar has to get better service. We patient pay a lot of money. We should be able to reach our doctors.
I was in extreme pain before the procedure. Apart from his skills as a surgeon and a doctor , he is very compassionate. I had a brain surgery scheduled a couple of weeks after my spine procedure ( which he performed). He came to see me after my brain surgery as well . A gem of a person.
