Went for the apple festival today and had a lovely time. Got to tour all the farm buildings & learn the history from the tour guides, walk through a train, look at antique cars & antique farm equipment. Ate some grilled bratwurst & apple tart with ice cream. They also had vendors, face painting, live music and a mini train you could actually ride around on. Really charming venue upkept by the historical society.
A lovely historic farmstead. We stopped in for a visit after hours and enjoyed a peaceful walk with our dogs around the well-maintained property. A special highlight was the grapevine pergola at the center of the yard. Beautiful place. Well worth a visit. Another reviewer mentioned that they hold festivals here on occasion, so that might be of interest beyond the farm itself.
Great little spot on a back road to enjoy an afternoon walking around and admire the way things used to be.
