Outdoor Activities Clothing and Equipment Gander Mountain advertises itself as a sporting goods store, but it is primarily geared toward sports like hunting, fishing, etc. as opposed to basketball, soccer, football, etc. It has a large assortment of clothing, shoes and boots, and camping equipment. They also have a nice assortment of supplies for outdoor grilling and cooking, and lots of dried foods for camping and backpacking. Their prices are not cheap, but their clothing and equipment are of very good quality.
great variety On a recent trip I stopped at gander mountain. I found a great selection of hunting gear here. They had a lot of styles to choose from in jackets, boots, gloves, hats and all types of hunting gear. The customer service was really good, they helped me find what I was looking for and gave me the pros and cons of different items.
large and plenty of hunting goods This shop is geared towards the hunter, not to say that they dont have other things, they do. but lots of hunting gear. There is a nice shoe/boot selection but it is diffacult to navigate and find your size. There are always clothes on sale still from the current season. I have found lots of nice deals here on linen items.
