Dr. Ganatra and two staff members treated me after I was diagnosed with cancer. After receiving insurance payment, he sent me to collections for less than $90.00. I haven’t worked since my diagnosis in February 2025, on the verge of eviction and repossession of my car, and he wants to further harass me for a minor balance. Has all patients sign a controlled substance contract regardless whether you take controlled meds. If you don’t sign it they will not give you a prescription for anything. Even asthma meds or high blood pressure. I’m not signing any contract for a med I do not take. They refused to give me my medications which could have led to serious consequences. Terrible care at Gulf Coast Medical Center.. He placed the patient on NPO with no food for 24 hours despite the Surgeon in total disagreement with him. Not responsive when contacted by Charge Nurse. Worse care witnessed in over 20 years.
