I had such a great experience with Nurse Angelika in step down unit. She is the most experienced, supportive nurse I had encountered. She was very helpful and explained everything to me. Thank you Good Samaritan for a such person like Angelika
Ian called me to check me in and he was very thorough Next there's a tan girl ( she seems black and white didn't get her name That helped me two days in a row she was SO SWEET. I pray the HR TEAM KNOWS HER SHE TAKES PICS AND SITS MOSTLY AT THE FRONT. She was also upstairs day of surgery 6/15 in Harris building I then had nurse Amanda prep (Amanda 1, blonde she was with me the most at first and she was so through. Absolutely the worse experience there today for a bone marrow biopsy. NO ONE cared about any of my worries or concerns. Didn't explain what they were going to do. Told me I would be sedated and I was wide awake crying for help and in pain and Gerald Zemel, MD yelled at me not to move. Did not sedate me. Did not listen to me at all. Proceeded with the biopsy. We had an excellent birth experience at Good Samaritan. We went in for a scheduled induction and everything ran super smooth. Everyone was very attentive and my day nurse Stephanie explained and was there for every step of my delivery. I love that you do not need to change rooms from the time you arrive until you are discharged. They are large and spacious. The food is excellent for hospital food 👌. Good Sam’s Hospital is a perfect example of why so many people are losing faith in our Healthcare system.
