We just got back from our first cruise and booked through GalvestonCruises. Not helpful at all, charged us more than just booking directly, didn't explain gratuities, felt like a rushed doctor phone call. Very disappointed will never use again.
We booked a cruise last minute directly through their website and received a confirmation email. The next day, we were informed that our booking wasn't confirmed because the cruise was supposedly full. It’s hard not to suspect that they may have sold our room to someone else for a higher price. After expressing our frustration, a balcony room suddenly became available—but only if we were willing to pay more.
