A great place to get away from it all. We stayed 3 nights in August with our two young boys. The cabin has a wood burning stove and also reverse cycle air con so was easy to keep warm. Super comfy beds. Fully equipped kitchen, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and hairdryer provided. Proper coffee machine. Lots of kangaroos and wallabies all around. So peaceful. Lots of wood for the fire pit. No phone reception or tv at the cabin - so refreshing! The kids want to live there instead of our actual home!

As a note, you do need to either bring your own water or the tank water needs to be boiled, but they tell you that when you book. ... read more

We spent three days in the lower cabin (Dhurrumbyan). The location is magnificent: lots of wildlife, spectacular views and the idea of living in the national park is just fantastic. But beware that there's no mobile coverage, so this will also be your digital detox experience. There's a fridge and aircon, but on a hot sunny day, it was almost impossible to hide from heat: the cabin's insulation is not so great, so even with working AC, we were struggling, and the temperature in the rooms went back to liveable only after 3 am... read more
