These folks do quality work and the proof is in the vehicle performance. They are sharpshooters as to their level of knowledge and experience. They may be a little pricey but no different than Northwest BMW. Here is an example of why I chose Gerties over NW BMW. Fife determined my supercharger had an oil leak. Really appreciate that Gertie's is in our area (South Kitsap, even though it's actually the north side of Gig Harbor). There is no one else around here that works on and understands European cars. They did a great job on my older BMW, and literally saved my much older VW when it went south driving it home from the dealer. Not the cheapest place, but the people are great and know what they're doing. Thanks for being there, Gerties.
Great service. I was impressed with the inspection breakdown we got on a car we just bought. Though I was expecting bad news on our rear differential, they let me know about all the other issues with the Land Rover. If you have a Land Rover, this is the place to bring it. They will sit down with you and answer any questions you might have. Even on the phone they took the time to walk me through the process. I will be bringing my cars here from now on.
Dishonest predatory shop. This is the kind of place that gives mechanics a bad name. Shop rate is $295/ hour everyone else in town is around $200/ hour. They charge a diagnostic fee of close to $200 which they do NOT apply towards repairs. This shop isn't busy because they are expensive difficult to work with and only interested in their bottom line. Galloping Gerties Garage in Gig Harbor exceeded all expectations. Shinee was professional and wonderful work with. My hybrid MBZ had a significant problem and they diagnosed it quickly and helped with getting warranty work. The entire crew at GGGarage are the best team. I highly recommend this garage!
