Very average, run down shabby motel....customer service is zero. Cannot get a tax invoice despite messaging and emailing multiple times.
The room itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, I accidentally locked myself out because the privacy lock wasn’t explained anywhere. While that was my mistake, it was very difficult to get help and regain access to my room, which left me stranded for a bit over an hour. If the property is going to operate with minimal staff, there should be clearer instructions about the lock and an easy-to-find emergency contact. That’s the reason for my lower rating.
Loved our stay at The Gallery Motel in Murwillumbah, NSW. Was perfect location for exploring the Tweed Hinterland and Mount Warning.
