The description of the lodge was misleading- no river views and mountains were far off in the distance. Our room in the main lodge was spacious, clean and comfortable with large windows. The restaurant seems to be the main feature here. To enter the lodge you had to walk through the restaurant which seemed weird and awkward during restaurant hours. Our family spent 4 nights here via Montana Angler. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Staff was always accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to another visit in the future
GRL is a one of a kind place with a great and friendly staff. By the end of our second day there it felt like home. Adding to the experience is dining as good as it gets anywhere. Chef Tony creates impressive and delicious plates. Sommelier and host Nicholas matches wine to your dinner for an experience you would usually find at an exclusive restaurant in a big city.
We stayed a few nights at GRL. Had a very relaxing time. Wonderful restaurant and scenic views! Will be coming back.
